Great press, a bit expensive for what it is.

"I was looking for a heavy burger press, and this one does not disappoint. At 5 lbs, it’s one of the heaviest you can get. There are a few negatives: The sides are sharp and unrefined, and the welds are somewhat sloppy. That said, none of this affects performance, as it’s a relatively simple tool and works exactly as intended."

Excellent tool

"Solid. Does what is needed. Doubles as a boat anchor!"

Very well made

"Atlas has excellent steel products and this one is up there. Heavier than most presses if you like that"

Burger press does the job

"First time I used it resulted in a perfect smash burger. I pressed the patty in the pan and left the press on top of the smashed patty to act as a weight. Result was a thin smash burger with a perfect crust. Cleaning of the press was simple. Will also likely use the press to double as a steak weight as soon as I can afford steak again."

Atlas burger press

"Solid build and weight. Works great for putting enough pressure on a smash burger. Probably the best overall quality and easy to order."

Pressing the Issue

"If you are looking to bulk up, this weight is all you need for your grilling projects. It is of high quality allows smash burgers to really feel the pressure. Great buy."

Leon Z. (5/5)

Works well

"I think you can season this, heat it up with the pan, and then sear both sides of a burger with it."

Burger depress

"I seasoned as instructed went to use it a second time and was greated with a rusty press could not use it again until much cleaning and curing so for what I paid not happy live learn fool me once you know the rest"

great canadian quality

"Look, I just wanted a good press i could buy elsewhere from Amazon and this is exactly what i got. It’s made in Canada which comforts me knowing money circulates in the country. It’s heavy and durable which is perfect for smash burgers. I just have two little things that annoy me. The first one is fixable: the seasonning on it was not completly done so the oil on it was not completly polymerized so there is a sticky feel to the press right of the box. I just applied oil again and put it in the oven for a longer time. Second thing which is not fixable: the handle. It’s just a weird grip that doesn’t feel natural. Seems like not enough tought process when through design like the chef’s press. I mean, it’s not bad and i like the press, but I wish it was more natural in my hands when I press burgers. I hope a V2 comes in the futur. Knowing all this I would still buy because of the quality."
