With the brand new Hultafors grinding stone you can easily and securely grind and polish your axe everywhere from the backyard to the backwoods. The grinding stone fits nicely in anyone’s hand and is designed to give a steady grip, protecting fingers and hands from cutting injuries. The elegant case in genuine leather protects your grinding stone, rendering it a long life companion to your hand forged Hultafors axe. The rough side has a grain size of 180, and the fine side a grain size of 600. The consistency of this grit will allow a beautiful polish with some patience! This combination of coarse and fine is ideal to restore the sharpness of your axe. To make your work easier, we recommend always using water when sharpening your axe

    "It does a good job,its nice to sit in a relaxing chair and puts away. On small stone one need good light to determine the right angle. In tge end with our Canadian peso, triple carbon tax and the mail expence $35 brought the total up to around $80 At least its US made I think/ hope. Nice toy😊👍"
