Great product, but do push up, not twist out. . .

"I had been using avocado oil to season my pans until I tried this: the addition of beeswax seems to make the surface more slick. In terms of how to use it, I finally understood by watching one of the videos that all I had to do was push the bottom to expel the product. I had tried to twist it at the bottom, to no avail. Si I ended up cutting out the cardboard which is very stiff and difficult to do. Might be obvious to most, but not to me! Without having to add it on the label, maybe add a note on your website? Just a thought. . ."

"Shout out to the Knifewear YouTube channel for this one! After watching the video (as well as literally 50 more) of how to take care of cast iron and carbon steel pans I decided to give this Pan Seasoning Stick a go. I restarted my cast iron seasoning with it and I was blown away! My friends and family are sick and tired of hearing how good my cast iron pan looks, feels, and functions! It's super easy to use and produces an incredible seasoning with the combination of not only Canola oil but beeswax. Good things come in small packages

"Buy this stick if you have hidden away your cast iron!! Grew up with cast iron pans, never saw my parents do anything with them except "never wash in soapy water", so when we renovated the kitchen and got an induction cooktop I instantly said the best pans are going to be cast iron. Purchased a couple from a high end shop that supplied commercial kitchens and assumed the "preseasoned" meant we had to do nothing to them. Gradually they got hidden away as everything stuck to them and we didn't know what to do. We would oil inbetween, but it didn't help. Last year I purchased a knife from Knifewear and started getting the emails. A few months ago a video showing this stick and how to season a pan showed up. FINALLY. . . someone to show me what to do. Stopped at the kiosk in the farmers market, chatted with them and said "really? Is it THAT good??" Yes. . . it is THAT good. Bought one, followed the instructions on the little stick - used our BBQ to season them so it didn't smoke up the house - twice. Let them cool, did the stovetop instructions and we have pans like we've never had before!! Nothing sticks. . . They are the main pans back on the stove again, and barely used any of the stick. The best $17 I've spent in a long time, and it barely used any of the stick. This stick will last for years just doing monthly stove top method to keep them seasoned. Seriously. . . go buy this stick if you hate your cast iron and want to love it again. . ."
