Reviews

sharpening sink bridge

"fit perfectly and cradles the sharpening stones very well"

Mark S. (5/5)

Excellent option for over the sink

"I like this better than the metal one since the little stone/metal particles don't get as easily caught in the moving parts. My favourite position is to set this under the tap and keep the water trickling while I sharpen."

Rachel W. (5/5)

Very good stone holder. Gets

"Very good stone holder. Gets a bit wet on the counter closest to you as it’s not in the middle of the bridge. I put a price of paper towel under that edge which also makes it a tighter fit. Any thing that i think would be improved is moving the stationary stop a few inches forward so the block is further from you. But I’m also 6’2”"

Tyler M. (5/5)

A little broken and no answer from the store

"I used it once and noticed a little crack in the bridge. It works fine, but it isn't very pleasant to see that after so little use. The most annoying thing is that I wrote a message to the store and never got an answer (yes, I did check my spam box)."

Thomas L. (3/5)

Awesome

"Makes sharpening so much easier. I can easily rinse the stones right into the sink. It also provides a secure grip so the stone doesn’t move when sharpening."

Scott A. (5/5)

Sharpening Bridge

"The Sharpening Bridge is my "Bridge Over Troubled Water" ! It needs to be paired with the correct sharpening Stone sss. And of course. . . Spending 2-3 hours with Francis is an absolute must! He gave me the theory and confidence to tackle the toughest edges! You guys are the best!"

pati m. (5/5)

Good Product

"Very good product! I got to use it once and it fit my sink perfectly!"

James A. (5/5)

A sad exception to Knifewear quality

"Everything on this site is great except this sink bridge. It has two major design flaws. First, it broke after only a year of semi regular use. There's a very thin piece of circular wood that's used to hold the stone in place. Second, it has a tendency to let swarf flow directly off the stone onto YOU! This should be removed from offering; doesn't stack up to the rest of the products here. The other sink bridge they have looks to be a better option."

Sink bridge

"Finally! Now I don’t have to chase my stone around on the counter anymore!"

lucas f. (5/5)

Awesome

"The Knifewear Sharpening Sink Bridge has been a game-changer for my knife sharpening routine. It fits perfectly over my sink, providing a stable and adjustable platform for my stones. The build quality is excellent, and the wooden material gives it a nice, sturdy feel. I love how easy it is to set up and adjust to fit different sink sizes. It’s also convenient to have the water right there for rinsing stones. Highly recommend."

Q&A

Will it work with the thin Shapton stones (glass stones)?
Hey! It will when brand new, but as the stones wear down, the edges of the bridge will get in the way.
What is the maximum width/length of the product? Not sure if it can fit my sink.
The maximum width is 53 cm.
Where is the sink bridge manufactured?
Hey Darren, our sink bridges are manufactured in China. Let me know if you have any other questions, Alex
Does it fit on a full size hotel pan?
It totally! It will fit well. - Ellie
What's the shortest and widest this will go? My sink is a slightly awkward dimension (15.5 inches by 25 inches) which not all sink bridges will accommodate.
Hey there, I think I hit you up on email, but for anyone else wondering the minimum width is 14.5in!
