Perfect for heating donabe or any cooking dish for communal meals, it provides consistent heating throughout the whole life of the butane cannister. It disperses heat evenly among the bottom of the pot, reducing hot spots and scorching. The construction is also incredibly sturdy, and easy to clean!

"For many years now I have been using (and been happy with) an Iwatani Slim butane stove. When ordering a donabe from Knifewear, I saw they had an Iwatani butane stove and I thought it would not be a bad idea to add another Iwatani butane stove to my kitchen. I’m SO glad I did! This Eco-Premium II stove is much more powerful and efficient that I can hardly believe the difference! The structure of the flame seems to be the key difference from the Iwatani Slim model and it allows me to use less fuel because it burns so fierce and true that I have had to adjust to lower settings for almost all the food I cook on it. I use it with my clay donabe and with my cast iron wok and it performs excellently with both. Easy to clean and store and beautiful to look at. I would recommend this Iwatani stove over all other butane stoves."
