Opinel is a world-renowned brand for many reasons. Their production is top-notch, their innovative ring-lock is reliable and durable, and their design is timeless. These pocket knives excel at any task, giving you a feeling of self-confidence just by sitting in your pocket. This is the smallest size made by Opinel.
This knife has a stainless steel blade, a relatively new innovation in Opinel designs. Unlike its predecessor, they do not rust and are a much lower maintenance option than their carbon steel cousins.
About Opinel - Opinel is the quintessential French pocket knife. Their history of forging steel goes back to the early 1800's in the Opinel family, and the numbered sizing system that they are known for was created in 1897 by Joseph Opinel. As demand increased, Joseph moved the company to Pont de Govoudaz to create a larger facility, innovating new knife-making machines, training workers, and bringing electricity to the village for the first time ever! Nowadays, Opinel is an internationally recognized design. Their minimalist designed has hardly changed, save for innovative new styles and the use of higher-quality modern steels.

"This is my purse knife used for all the packaging I can no longer open with my hands!! It’s compact cute and the best lil knife"
"Have friend who collects little knives.....good gift"
"Love the people too!"
"Nice"
"Toss it in your shaving kit. It will come in handy"
"Dandy little knife. Many kudos to the young lady who served me; she was able to tell me that I can carry this knife through airport security which is why I bought it. It is less than 5 cm long when open. As someone who hates airline food and wants to bring his own, having a small sharp knife is da bomb."
"This little Opinel has been quite popular within the friend group! Although hilariously small, it's immensely useful for a variety of tasks. A personal favourite use of mine is for opening boxes. The small blades means that the knife usually isn't big enough to damage anything inside should a cut go wrong. It fits in any pocket and can go anywhere! As a fun little fact, it's even allowed on board a plane with you! Left mine in my pocket while boarding a flight and security saw no trouble with it then, or any time since. Only thing to remember is that the blade doesn't lock, so do exercise a bit of caution with it!"
