For many chefs, a pair of chopsticks is in their hand as often as a knife. They can easily be used to manipulate food in a deep-fryer, flip searing meats and handle delicate plating tasks. The pointed steel tip allows for extreme precision and durability. The point can be used to pierce cooked foods to check for done-ness, or to keep prying hands away from your treasured knives.

  • Chopsticks are 295 mm overall, metal portion is 160 mm.

Reviews

Almost worth it

"These had the potential to be really cool, but like other reviewers, I found them to be of questionable construction. One of them had rust spots on its tip already, and the other one seemed to be constructed defectively (gap between metal and wood handle part, visible glue). They have a nice weight and seem like they would be a versatile kitchen tool otherwise, but because of their quality I will be returning them."

Moribashi cooking chopsticks.

"Well balanced in your hand showing exceptional craftmanship. Sharp points for precise handling."

Cooking over coals

"These are wonderful for anyone who cooks with chopsticks (and anyone who wants to). With a little practice you will have better form and elegance when plating (and when you eat with regular chopsticks). The tips on these are very sharp for detail work but I prefer them dulled as I found them too sharp for most cooking. Of course, you could use inexpensive wooden cooking chopsticks but there’s the benefit of using these over open flames without worry."
