"I grew up using ladles or giant spoons or some cheap spatula and they all worked fine enough. The Yamaha Steel Wok Spatula is made better, works better, and feels better than the rest. I did give it a slight curve to fit the medium wok edges a bit better and I did blunt the leading edge as I found it to be a tad too sharp to the touch. The length is great for working over a high flame and I like that the handle stays cool as I often leave it sitting in the wok and resting on the edge for moments while cooking. It’s very well made and pairs perfectly with the Yamada Uchidashi Hammered Steel Wok."
