"For when you want to keep something submerged or want to weight down a cartouche. Simple and effective. And, for whatever reason, the height and curvature of the centre knob fits almost perfectly underneath the Bruce Hill chef presses while the presses are flat on the lid giving the weight something to stay centred on. So, if you need some extra weight on the lid, all the Bruce Hill weights fit very well."
