Naniwa Diamond stones are the ultimate sharpening nerd stones. This super hard diamond stone stays flat for ages and grinds steel quite fast, so it's good for sharpening super tough abrasion-resistant steels, removing flat spots on primary bevels, and fixing the backs of single bevel knives.
This grit is excellent for starting somewhat sharp edges, refining rough edges, and polishing scratched steel.
When to use this stone:
Always flatten your stone with a truing stone after sharpening.
About Naniwa - Naniwa is the biggest and best sharpening stone manufacturer in Japan. Their stones are among some of the highest quality in the world, good for both professional and amateur.
