- Can this be used with a sink bridge as a sharpening pond? Do you know the gauge of the sheet metal used and if it will rust if you use water in it for longer periods of time?
- Hey Chris, you could use it for that, it will eventual rust as all steel will, I would recommend something made of plastic as a sharpening pond. But it would work well. I'm not sure of the exact gauge, it is sturdy though. - Ellie
