Made from recycled ocean-bound plastics, the HORL 3: Cruise is an impressive entry into the world of rolling sharpeners. With two attached discs, the Cruise is easy to use and a fantastic option for western knives, pocket knives and workhorse blades, leaving a sharp edge that bites into Tomato skins!
The instinctive design makes it simple to pick up and start sharpening right away, for both seasoned sharpening veterans looking for a quicker alternative to stones, or for those trying out sharpening for the first time. Just attach your knife to the included magnetic angle guide (15 degrees for Japanese, 20 for non-Japanese knives), set it on a flat surface, line the HORL sharpener up so the disc is touching the edge of your knife and roll it up and down to see results in minutes.
The cruise comes with 2 permanently attached discs, a black diamond sharpening disc and a stainless steel honing disc, meaning it removes steel quickly, but you might want to finish Japanese blades at a higher grit.
All HORL rolling sharpeners come with a magnetic angle guide capable of setting to 15 or 20 degrees.
