Made from wood and strong rare earth magnets, these magnetic knife holders are a great alternative to a knife block or storing your knives in a draw. Allowing you to display and store your knives with pride, in fact, we use these in all our stores to display our demo knives.
The magnetic material is encased in the wood so you don’t need to worry about scratching your knife. Screw them onto the wall and voila.
Got tile? We find heavy-duty double-sided tape works, such as 3M or Gorilla brand.

"Great product, however, it didn't work for me as I was hoping to mount this vertically, not horizontally. I realize this is non-standard, so no fault to Beau Grain on that. The magnetic strip is only down the very center of the wood, so heavier handles tend to swing down, and smaller knives (paring) didn't get enough bite because most of the blade is not centered on the magnets. If it had two rows of magnets it probably would have worked fine. It is well made, and for traditional use, this would be great and appears to be easy to mount."

- Hi, is there a weight limit/how strong is the magnet? I want to put my Kau Kong chopper, a Chinese cleaver (~ 350g), and Henckels Classic 6 inch Cleaver (~ 340g) on it. Thanks!
- The magnet in the holder will have no problem holding all of those. It'll come down to the mounting of the holder on your wall. They come with a a drywall anchor but you may want to screw the holder directly into studs or use a heavier duty drywall anchor rated for a couple kilograms to ensure you don't have any troubles.
- The magnetic knife holder ,how many knives will they hold, Does the Manet effect the metal stability over time. Blades become magnetic or brittle. We have golden oak cupboards which wood wood be close cherry of maple?
- The number of knives that will fit on the holder will depend on the width (or height) of each knife on the holder. There aren't any ridges so you have the full 11.5" or 15.5" surface on the front of the holder to place knives. The magnet will not affect the stability of your blades. Maple is the lightest so if it will likely be the closest match to golden oak.
- Are the magnets strong enough to mount the back of this on the side of a fridge, without having to use double sided tape?
