I am now the sharpest knife in the drawer
"I already had some basic sharpening practice, but wanted to really learn proper technique to get the most out of my knives and sharpening stones. Maddie was a fantastic teacher who gave fantastic instructions and very specific and useful feedback. She was also hilarious and made the whole class feel like hanging out with friends. My knives have never been sharper. No tomato is safe."

Great teachers
"I don’t know anything about knife sharpening but my teacher, Maddy, was wonderfully kind and patient. I left the class learning the basics of burrs, stropping, polishing and honing."

"Been going to Knifewear for years and the staff has always been great, super helpful and are always willing to help. Took a cutting class now if I can learn how to sharpen my knifes at home, it will be perfect. Thanks for having all the stuff you do and for taking care of the customer."

Knife Sharpening class and Nakuri Knife purchase
"The class was amazing and we can’t wait to try the knife skill class later this summer. However my Nakui knife purchase while amazing has a dull edge in the centre . It’s not a major issue and will be fixed once I finish collecting all the sharpening tools I was disappointed it came that way, I was hoping to have a few amazing months with the knife before it needed a good tune up. Perhaps it was because I chose the knife that was on display vs the other two."

Knife Sharpening Class
"The knife sharpening class was very good. Instructors were clear and instructive. I appreciated the time spent preparing us to sharp and then following up and providing individual instruction and guidance. I would recommend the course for anyone wanting to learn how to keep their knives sharp."

If you own a knife you need this course
"Whether you're a chef or a home cook, you need to know how to sharpen your knives properly. YouTube is great for some things but not great at explaining the nuances of knife sharpening. Robbie did a great job explaining the sharpening process and in class, I was able to sharpen my chef's knife sharper than when it came from the store."
— Brian M. (5/5)
