"I needed a knife holder for my rental. I got the largest and it's long enough for any of my knives, it looks sleek and the knives are retrieved easily. I'm pleased."

"I needed a knife holder for my rental. I got the largest and it's long enough for any of my knives, it looks sleek and the knives are retrieved easily. I'm pleased."
"Very well made and attractive knife block. I have a mix of Japanese and German knives and this hold them all beautifully. Only note is that it doesn’t hold a honing steel, otherwise it is perfect."
"I bought this to replace my Shun knife block that didn't fit the larger gyuto I recently got. Construction is really nice and finding space wasn't an issue, it manages to fit between my cabinet and the light switch on my counter in my small apartment kitchen. Actually frees up room compared to the Shun block. Wish I bough the medium instead of the medium-large version though, my gyuto is 9 inches and really tall but it still looks a bit silly in this block because the block is so tall. I would trust the dimensions for fitting given on the website."
"These knife blocks come in three sizes - for 8" and shorter knives, for 10" and for 12" blades. I got a 10" one and there were several to choose from since they each have slightly different finish, each one is unique. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I do not keep it on display and it is functional."
"Everything is awesome about this except that my Deba is too thick to fit in the slot. I'll dremmel it out to fit. No biggie."
"An excellent and attractive way to store knives."
"Great looking knife block, functional, sturdy . . I have one and both my daughters now have one!"
"This knife block works well and is a great addition to our kitchen. As others have noted, having overhanging cupboards may mean there is limited space to get the knives out of the block without sliding the block forward a few a bit - hasn't caused me any issues yet. I would recommend this block as both a functional and beautiful means of storing and displaying these fabulous knives."
"This cutting board meets the requirements of keeping my knives sharp, however, I found cutting fruit is a challenge. The fruit slides on the cutting board and I have difficulty picking the fruit up. I did receive confirmation from the in-store people that I could use a piece of paper towelling on the cutting board, to alleviate this problem and not affect the knives."
"I bought the tallest block for my brother who has lots of knives, many of them "outsize". This looks great and does the trick."
