Meet your new secret weapon for turning bonito into edible art. Watch as paper-thin, delicate flower petals of umami-rich goodness cascade across your plate—the kind of move that makes dinner guests lean in and ask questions. Fresh-shaved bonito hits different, and this slicer makes it effortless - the only problem left is finding a chunk of bonito. Plus, the removable blade lets you sharpen it back to brand-new condition.

Katsuo Bonito Slicer

"A great product and must have. I use this tool outside the realm of traditional cuisine for my Indigenous Program at Algonquin College as we thinly shave dried fish and game meats to create an Aboriginal inspired dashi. My students are learning about the combinations of international and traditional ingredients. My hats off to Christopher Lord and his as always impeccable customer service. And his attentive and helpful staff. My favourite knife shop around. Thank you as always!"
