Fantastic and Versatile
"This was my first single-bevel knife, and I love the thing! Its got a thicker spine than most of the petty knives I've seen, which makes it great for cutting around bones in a pinch. (Though I wouldn't consider this a replacement for a Honesuki in any way) Keep in mind that the thick spine results in a very stiff knife, which makes it more or less suited to certain tasks. It is also quite reactive, being full carbon. But either bathing it in instant coffee or just using it enough will help it develop a strong patina, which helps."
