They work great!
"I had to give them a once over with sandpaper to remove some sharp bits, but otherwise they do exactly what I want them to! Took a little bit of getting used to because if the bamboo burns your skewer will fall into the coals (vs. just sitting on the grate). Now I prep the day before but soak the bamboo and skewer right before grilling, and I try to make the length of the food on the skewers more even so there's less exposed bamboo."
